another good day

I did my presentation today, so one thing crossed of the list.

Weights were good today, lat pull down machine was out of order, so improvised there.

I had a great cardio today, I’m starting to get used to doing shorter flat out bursts, Like I’ve said though I try not to think about cardio to much, just do it.

My little boy is sitting on my knee at present, he has a bit of a temperature, so I’ll keep an eye on that, lots of gastro going around here apparently.

Tomorrow is my day off uni, so I love Fridays, ...got some catching up to do around the house and another assignment to get on with, no weights, just cardio.

Quote

If you are not happy with what you already have, how can you expect to become happy by getting more? Instead of expecting that happiness will come to you from the outside, choose to send it out from the inside.

If you've been waiting for some thing or event or condition before choosing to be happy, there is no need to wait any longer. Go ahead, choose to be happy, and then you'll move more effectively toward whatever you desire.

Having the good and valuable things you desire is not a cause of happiness. It is an expression of happiness.

Happiness is not yours when you chase it or put conditions on it. Happiness is yours when you allow it.

Choose right now to allow it. Choose to be happy and genuinely thankful about who you are, what you're doing, what you have and where you're going.

And right away, that positive attitude on the inside will begin to build and improve the factors on the outside. Allow happiness, and allow your life to run in a positive, fulfilling direction.

Awesome Marston post Ali, I couldn't agree with it more!!

Do you mind if I ask you what you are studying at uni? My friend and flatmate Cheree has just gone back to nightclasses at the age of 49 to do her TEE as her parents made her leave school at 15 to work in their fish & chip shop and she really wants to get herself a great career. I am so proud of her!!

Have a great day,

Love Rae x

That is great that your flat mate is doing her TEE.

I am studying primary school teaching Rae, I should finish mid next year if all goes to plan.

It's a hard slog sometimes, I'm not the most acedemic person, and it's required a lot of adjustments at home for all concerned over the years I've been doing it. It will be all worth it in the end :) and I am enjoying the journey. thanks for inquiring.

Have a great weekend
